Escapes are made in one piece so there's no seam to split. The polyethylene material can withstand much more punishment than older fiberglass hull technologies.

Our owners tell us tales of extreme abuse. Nine adults we know (some say adolescents) took their Escape Captiva sledding. This group was repeatedly towed back to the top of the hill over paved roads, in the boat, by a pickup truck!

Another family told us about launching their Escape bobsled-style down a rocky slope -- with the whole family in it.

Typically, a mild scrape is all the hulls suffer from this kind of abuse. That said, these anecdotes are offered only as testimony to the remarkable strength and durability of our hull materials, and are not meant as an endorsement of using your Escape as a bobsled. Our attorney wanted us to make it clear that these dangerous activities WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY.
