Cintamani is designed and tested in
Iceland, on the doorstep of the arctic. Nowhere in the populated world
does the weather change as fast, or as often as on the island of ice and
fire. A place where it snows on June mornings but by nightfall the the
midnight sun fills the skies. Where it rains on December nights only to
be followed shortly by a hailstorm. Consequently, nowhere in the
populated world is it more important to protect yourself from the
elements. Cintamani does just that. Cintamani will keep you warm, dry

Cintamani
footwear is tested in the extreme environment of Iceland, withstanding
all that mother nature can dish out. The high standards of performance
of Green Diamond soles are based on the thousands of small sharp-edged
granules making firm contact with any surface, giving them superior
traction.

 IceGuard
membrane
Upper is genuine Nubuck leather, mixed with mesh and reinforcement rubber on
toe area. The leather has an IceGuard membrane with qualities that make the
shoes both waterproof and breathable at the same time. The IceGuard membrane
is non-porous and therefore impenetrable by water and snow. However the
membrane 'breaths' through small spaces within it's structure that allow
moisture to pass through.
Even better, the IceGuard membrane adjusts to outside temperature and
humidity to help you stay comfortable in a wide range of conditions. When
you exercise, your body heat increases and you begin to perspire. As the
temperature increases the molecules in the IceGuard membrane move faster and
spaces between molecules increase. Result? The perspiration moves even
faster to the outside of the shoe.
The Cintamani shoes are also well insulated and soft, giving you maximum
comfort on your adventures. |
Green
Diamond outsoles
Cintamani footwear is equipped with Green
Diamond outsoles that give 2-3 times more grip and stability than
normal rubber soles, according to a
research conducted by Satra (view
research statistics ). Green Diamond soles are impregnated with
thousands of sharp-edged granules in each pair of shoes. As the soles wear
down new layers of granules appear so that your grip and stability is never
compromised. This applies to all wet, slippery and icy surfaces.
